The Danforth, which is part of East York, is one of the most vibrant municipalities of Toronto centred around Danforth Avenue. It comprises of several Business Improvement Associations including Broadview Danforth BIA, Greektown on the Danforth, Danforth Mosaic BIA, Danforth Village BIA, Crossroads of the Danforth BIA and It is home to one of the largest Greektowns in North America, as well as an Ethiopian and a Bangladeshi neighbourhood. It contains some of the most iconic and oldest neighbourhoods in Toronto, such as Playter Estates, Riverdale, Pape Village, and The Pocket.
